This is a lovely house with beautiful views over a valley of vinyards. The large south facing terraces and pool area are accessed through 3 double veranda doors opening off the spacious and bright living/dining area. All bedrooms have newly installed air conditioning. To wake up to such amazing views and then have breakfast on the balcony was the best for me. Down the steps to the pool below for a quick dip and then off to lunch in the historic town of Couilliere. All the i… more 22 Jan 2013 5/5 "This house certainly lived up to our expectations and in a good location too." We really enjoyed our stay here with our friends. The house is in a good location (although hilly in parts) and every possible comfort was there. It really felt like a home from home. The area is residential but quiet and only a 15 minute walk to town where there are excellent restaurants, shops, markets and town beach. All in all, it was easy to get really relaxed here especially after a long lazy lunch on the balcony! Would certainly go back in the future. 12 Nov 2012 5/5 "generous in every way . space, facilities,decor views a lovely villa in a quiet and private setting" we were a party of eight and really appreciated the spaciousness of this beautiful villa overlooking the charming town of Collioure and framed by a mountain range the views were wonderful and I will long remember the awesome starlight sky when opening the shutters at bedtime. The facilities were abundant in every way ,with quality furnishings and we enjoyed our 'barbies' on the balcony . we could all be together ,not always easy with a large party , yet there was room for us to do our own thing whether that was watching T.V playing guitar, reading ,playing games or cooking inspired by some lovely cook books on the bookshelf or enjoying the exterior which was very private, using the pool or just sunbathing It was a special holiday to have the family together[age range from70 to 6 ] and it was everything and more that I hoped for 12 Nov 2012 5/5 "Lovely villa with spectacular views in Collioure!" My husband and I stayed in this villa for a week in August with my parents and are two young children. Collioure is a fabulous town but very crowded in the summer months. It was very nice to be able to walk into town from the villa without needing a car. The walk back up the hill and up the stairs is a bit steep though so keep that in mind for young children. The villa had everything we needed and was very comfortable for the whole family. We used the grill on the back patio often and the views from the back of the villa were truly spectacular. The villa even has an impressive selection of travel guides and books for the region as their is so much to explore there. Eugene, the owner, was always quick to respond to emails and very helpful throughout the entire booking process. I have rented many villas through Holiday Lettings and my experience with Eugene was probably the easiest. EMAIL FEEDBACK FROM RENTERS 2012 We had a marvellous time at your lovely home in Collioure. It was comfortable for all seven of us and fit our needs, whether it was swim, read, or surf the net (great wi-fi by the way ). Our excursions included daily visits to the seaside villages, the beach, casino! And even Girona and barcelona. Thanks for making it all possible for us to enjoy our stay. Gregory Orr July 2012 We had a wonderful time and the home is lovely. I used the bike it is quite a ride up the hill! Great exercise. We liked the bakery in the artisan Faubourg area the best. We went to most of the wineries in Collioure and Banyuls and several in Maury and Rivesalte.
