The apartment is part of a typical and very well restored "Monte Alentejano", wonderful and very peaceful. Comunication with Riki was always very easy and clear. Highly recommended.

Our second stay at Riki’s place was just as good as the first. It’s great to have the wood fire when it’s cold and the cottage is cosy and has everything we need. Our dog enjoyed her stay as well, especially the walks in the hills.

Rikis place is among our favorites in Portugal. It is set in a valley surrounded by soft hills and the beautiful creations of mother earth. We enjoyed watching the sheep in the wide fields around us. The view is simply amazing. The quietness gave so much peace, there is only sounds created by nature itself. The place is not to big but has everything you need. The oven is amazing and makes a warm house. Bed is comfy. The way to the house is quite an adventure due to the bumpy road but it is working alright. Riki was always reacting fast and giving good tips for what to do in the surrounding area. When we get back to Portugal we would love to come here again.

We really enjoyed the week we stayed at Riki's place with our dog. It was comfortable and the wood stove made the cold evenings pleasant. The place is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and you really can take fine walks in just about any direction. We did just that! It's a great place to stay for a short break.
