Our Agriturismo Podere La Fornace is a historical place, family-owned for more than 200 years, only 3-4 kilometers or 5 minutes by car from the beautiful UNESCO world heritage town Assisi. The scenery is magic with the view on Assisi and the farmhouse being surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and fields of crops. La Fornace is perfect for guests who want to explore Umbria - pretty much all major sites can be reached within 60 minutes - but it is just as perfect to take a break and relax. Our place is known for its tranquility and rustic charm and we will make sure you’ll get to relax and unplug when at the same time it takes you only a few minutes by car to be in the center of Assisi which is only 3 kilometers away. It is a breathtaking view from our place over the vineyards towards Assisi and Monte Subasio in the background. This is one of our accessible 2 studio apartments located on the ground floor, it is called 'La Quercetta' (the small oak). It has a beautiful rustic wooden barn door leading out on a courtyard from where you can hear the sound of the stream crossing our property (only in the summer months it might dry out). It comes with a double bed, a private bathroom with shower and a kitchenette where you can prepare small meals. Wifi is provided in all rooms as well as a tv with internet access. The design in our rooms is very traditional according to the Umbrian farmhouse style, yet combined with fresh modern colours.
