Welcome to Birdsong Cottage; the newly listed luxury tiny home retreat! Nestled in the trees with a seasonal view of Lake Barkley, you will find the sites, sounds and serenity awaiting your attention to soak in the beauty that surrounds! This elegant farmhouse escape brings a unique offering to the Land Between The Lakes area with a one of a kind setting, scenery and atmosphere that will leave you and your family with many special memories and moments ready to be made for years to come. With the cozy and intentional appointments of the home, whether you’re coming through by yourself, as a couple or family, you will be sure to have an exciting, fun filled time with the abundant amenities this incredible home and surrounding areas has to offer! Birdsong Cottage was designed with tranquility, comfort and relaxation in mind for the ultimate luxurious and immersive escape! The carefully selected location of the home is just under 10 minutes from the beautifully rustic downtown Cadiz, KY area which offers an exciting small town feel with a variety of offerings to experience which makes the Cadiz area special. Whether you enjoy fun outdoors such as hiking, water activities; fishing, boating, kayaking, or visiting various historical sites, antique shopping or restaurant hopping, there is something enjoyable for everyone! Within the tiny home itself, you will find fun things to do as it does come equip with WiFi(please note that our WiFi is “cellular 5g WiFi” not cable due to location and service availability), Roku TV’s in each living space (including the master bedroom) as well as board games in the upstairs loft. The master bedroom has one queen bed and just outside the room has two twin sized bunk beds. The detail of the cottage and mindful arrangements are sure to provide a home away from home feel and restful space.

Great little place to stay. 3 full size adults was enough for the place, but for being a tiny house we found it well laid out and very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom room were roomier than we were expecting, and the house was very clean. The internet wasn’t the fastest but we were able to use it to look things up since the cell phone reception was poor in the area. If you are looking for a place to stay and there are only a couple of you we would recommend staying here. The host gave great instructions, and we found it easy to get in to.

We chose to stay over Christmas. 2 ladies in their 70’s and my daughter (40+). The home was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom/ shower was very nice. I enjoyed my stay. We were able to fix most of our meals in the home but went out for breakfast twice. There is a nice strip mall shopping area in Hopkinsville which we visited. The home was not as close to water as I had expected but I was just hoping for a “view”. There is a very nice fire pit but we didn’t choose to use it. Again…we’re older and it’s winter. Access to the home was easy with a coded lock. Parking was easy. If you are addicted to Wi-Fi it is spotty. Strong in the bedroom but weak in the living area. Same with our phone carrier (Verizon). I had one bar and several dropped calls. But with a different carrier, my sister’s phone worked fine. Jay was quick to respond when I messaged him both before our arrival and during our visit.

Aside from the breathtaking environment and nature filled surroundings of Birdsong Cottage, there are many outdoor activities to explore in the area. Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area is full of trails, wildlife and history. The Elk and Bison Prairie is an experience that you won't want to miss out on. At the Woodlands Nature Center you can participate in programs on wildlife, gardening, and nature photography! Gaze into the eyes of a great horned owl, howl with a coyote, or watch for the elusive red wolf in the Backyard Exhibit Area. There are many guided programs: a sunset canoe trip, an afternoon nature hike, or a Sunday Safari. Children will love special days such as Cool Critters Day, story time programs, and up-close animal encounters.
If you are in the mood for golfing, Boots Randolph 18 hole Golf Course is the place to go!
Or if you are feeling the need for a little shopping explore our loving quant downtown area in Cadiz. There are several antique shops and a wonderful little ice cream parlor inside The Cadiz Antique Mall.
Some of the must visit areas are:
-Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area (approximately 15 mins)
-Woodlands Nature Station - Nature & Wildlife Areas (approximately 35 mins)
-Boots Randolph Golf Course - (approximately 13 mins)
-Moon River Marina (approxmiately 3 mins)
-Patti’s 1880’s Settlement (approximately 45 mins)
-Prizer Point Marina (approximately 15 mins)
-Lake Barkley Marina (approximately 19 mins)
-10 to 15 mins from local restaurants (local owned places - American, Mexican, fast food chains as well as grocery shopping etc)
-Groceries store offerings include Hancocks Neighborhood Market and Food Giant (both approximately 13 mins).
-Door Dash does offer deliver to the cottage from select places such as Sonic Drive-In, The Burger Barn Bar & Grill, Cadiz Family Restaurant, Casey’s Convenience and Dollar General.
-The Cadiz, KY locale is also just a 1 hour 20 minute drive (83 miles) to the Music City, Nashville, TN area - home of country music and vibrant Broadway area overflowing with the exciting and authentic sounds of live music, amazing restaurants, shopping and ambient surroundings! Home to the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, Opryland Hotel, Tennessee Titans football, and Nashville Predators hockey, the close proximity to all Nashville has to offer is an added bonus to the location of Birdsong Cottage!
