We had a good time! The place was clean, nice layout, plenty of parking, and overall very accommodating. The hot tub had a strong chlorine odor, so only a few of us got in. One person said it made her skin itch. Also, there weren’t any trash bags for the kitchen. Minor things that can easily be improved upon. We would definitely stay here again.

Good place very conveniently located near Hartman Rocks, which is the main reason I got it (walking distance to the trailhead). However, the place smelled like weed right when we entered. It aired out a bit after a day or so. The other major issue was the hot tub. We didn't try turning it on until the afternoon after our first night there and the instructions said 1-1.5 hours to heat up. It didn't heat at all that evening. We tried again in the morning after looking online for some instructions. It got warm (maybe 95 degrees or so) but definitely not the 104F that the control panel inside said. Not too bad of a soaking temp; however the hot tub had clearly not been maintained and had very low water level and was full of leaves. On the positive side: the convenient location made for a perfect warm staging area to get to the trail race we were doing at Hartman Rocks. The house itself was cozy and the fireplace worked very well to keep things warm during the cold mornings.
