The Baker Hotel is in the heart of Cranbrook's historic downtown with pubs, restaurants, a grocery store, and unique shops all within throwing distance. This beautiful old brick hotel (circa 1923) has a vintage art deco charm. Our premium Nouveau Rooms feature beautiful and unique Art-Deco inspired décor and are fully renovated with custom bathrooms and King size beds. On-site laundry, barber shop and an amazing restaurant on the main floor.

My favourite place to stay in Cranbrook! Always clean & comfy bed! Love the character & charm of this hotel. This visit we could definitely hear people above us? Greg was very responsive & it got better. I would recommend staying on third floor is possible? But overall I would definitely recommend!! We will be back! Great pub next door & local breakfast place within walking. Starbucks at the Safeway around the street! 👍

The Baker Hotel is in the heart of Cranbrook's downtown! the Firehall pub, Heidout restaurant, Sakura Sushi, Safeway grocery store, the Kootenay Roasting Company, Soulfood, Max's Place, Cranbrook Art Council, Community Theatre, etc, etc, its all within a couple blocks. This is a safe, walkable downtown with a unique charm.
The main bus stops are right near the hotel. Cranbrook is very easy to walk around, no big hills or complex street systems. Downtown parking is free overnight and on weekends. We have a parking lot located on 11th Ave directly across from The Baker Hotel.
