A former service Station, Elmo's is 10 min from the local Airport, .25 miles from Route 219 w/ easy access to the region & 20 min from our Level 1 Trauma Center founded by Clara Barton! The Laurel Highlands offer numerous year round outdoor activities and the region's industrial past has given us rail-trails allowing access to our beautiful valleys, in fact there's one just outside your door. We love our hills and our history and are sure that you will too! Come Stay Awhile! This was the service station owner's apartment. It's important to keep in mind the original building was constructed in the 1930s and let's just say that square is not always the mission of the builders, so you'll find some slope to the floors, doors that do not close properly especially in humid weather. The second bedroom is built between the garage and the 2nd floor so the ceiling is not standard height. All that aside, the apartment has new plumbing, electrical work, and the bathroom has been modernized. The building has one heating source for all the apartments and is hot water with an oil boiler. Each apartment has its own window or floor A/C unit for summer cooling.
