Great place to stay! The view from the terrace is the best, totally worth coming just for the view, but everything else is great as well.

Beautiful villa with breathtaking views and a wonderful pool. Peaceful and calm setting in the middle of the banana plantations, which we loved. We spent a lovely, relaxing holiday week with our two kids, combining chill days at the pool with some excursions. It was great to drive to the village nearby to eat at a restaurant or to go to the supermarket. Madeira charmed us and we would love to come back to this villa! One thing to note: If you have small kids, you need to be careful with the cliffs and stairs.

Had a FABULOUS stay, and had a very warm welcome from Rui and Gabriel, the pool was perfect and could not recommend this paradise highly enough. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is one of those jewels you wish would remain slightly a secret, we’d actually secured this villa to use as a base to explore this side of Madeira. We arrived, unpacked, took a G&T down to the ocean patio, toppled into the pool before an epically blissful nap and then … well … sorta never left the place at all except to walk down and re supply from the shops around the Marina, oh yeah where we accidentally found exceptional Indian food. So don’t get this place unless you’re prepared to be captivated. The staffs preparation and attention were as superlative as the property deserves. Bravo to Rui & Gabriel we’ll certainly be back in a few months !

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in Rui‘s Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr besonders und liegt in den Bananenplantagen und direkt am Meer. Wir waren mit zwei Familien mit kleinen Kindern dort und haben besonders die Terrasse und der Pool genossen. Auch die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Zimmer und Bäder sind komfortabel. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man kann zu Fuß zum Strand in Calheta, zur Marina, zu leckeren Restaurants und zum Supermarkt. Rui und Gabriel waren tolle Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!!!
