The KLAE House is perfectly situated within sight of the GAP Bike Trail and within walking distance to the Casselman River. Also, centrally located near Ohiopyle State Park, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Yough Lake, Frank Lloyd Wright homes, and much more. This home has been completely renovated and designed with a unique vintage/modern style. The KLAE House is the perfect getaway for a quiet and peaceful stay surrounded by nature on your own private hillside. This home has a full kitchen, dining room, and living room with vaulted ceilings. The washer/dryer are in the main part of the house, we will have detergent on hand for guests. The primary suite features a king bed with a full bathroom attached. The secondary suite also offers two double beds with a full bathroom attached. Both bedroom suites have a vaulted wood ceiling, tiled showers, and new vanities. We provide travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for you to begin your stay. The entry room has storage for your adventure gear and shoes. There is a front and back deck for enjoying the outdoor space with a fire pit. We will supply you with enough firewood for your first fire. The home is filled with original art by the owner and from other area artists. There is ample off street parking, enough for multiple cars, even your boat! Yough Lake is nearby, only 20 min away! The marina offers boat rentals, as well. The walls have been painted white on the interior, with natural finish bamboo hardwood flooring throughout! The kitchen boasts new white, sleek cabinets with butcher block countertops and is a fully functioning kitchen with all the modern amenities, including a coffee maker, stand mixer, and dishwasher! This is a dog friendly property. There is an XL size dog crate and bowls for your precious pups, available to use. We do require dogs to be crated if left unattended. Unfortunately, cats are not permitted as our family has allergies. There are countless area attractions and things to do nearby. This is a fisherman’s dream - the Casselman River is within walking distance, while Laurel Creek, White’s Creek, Yough River, and McClintock Run are only a short drive. Those fishing spots are considered some of the BEST in the region! Plus, Frank Lloyd Wright Homes, Ohiopyle State Park, Seven Springs, plenty of hiking and beauty are only a short drive, with much more! This secluded, private cabin is your perfect mountain getaway! We do have a security Ring camera at the front door for the safety of our guests and property. As well as, two trail cameras positioned in the woods above our cabin to view animals in the area. Please note, the Laurel Highlands can experience snow during the months of November-March.
