Very chaotic booking process - I had to get Airbnb support involved because despite a confirmed reservation, my actual room was NOT confirmed - at first I was told they were fully booked, but my reservation wasn’t cancelled, then I was downgraded to a longstay room in the basement, which was flooded after two weeks due to a broken water pipe during a storm, meaning I had to move rooms twice during my stay, first to a nice hotel room (though without a kitchen and fridge present in the longstay rooms), then to an attic longstay room (very unpleasant with the summer heat). A myriad of other bigger and smaller issues during my stay make it very difficult for me to recommend The Base for anything but a short stay.

Its a absolute stunning place with a lot of other public facilities that you can used staff are really friendly and helpful if you need anything. Apartments are in peaceful location very close to tram station. I will definitely come back. Thanks for everything!
