This is a beautiful newly remodeled retro two-story home located in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. Located just a short drive from popular dining locations, Captain John's Marina, Fawnskin Village, and more! Minutes to The Big Bear Village, restaurants, ski resorts, biking, boating, fishing, and hiking. LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1400+ sq ft home with living room, ceiling fans, dining table, bar seating, a beautiful wood burning fireplace and plenty of comfortable living room seating. ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom 2 bath. Master bedroom has a queen bed, private bathroom, and deck access. Second bathroom has a queen bed and deck access. Living room has a sleeper sofa. Extra blankets and pillows are available. KITCHEN - Stainless steel appliances, Quartz counter tops, stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spice rack, and more. AMENITIES - Enjoy the provided telescope to star gaze while playing music on the record player. Board games and card games. Smart TV with cable and fast WiFi. Relax in the hot tub or near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with stackable washer/dryer. OUTDOORS - Upper gated deck with private hot tub with peekaboo lake views, picnic table, and gas barbecue. Wonderful cozy home with amazing view and no close neighbors!! Hot tub, fridge, stove and sink were awesome.
We had a great stay and really enjoyed the cabin and beautiful view. They had some interesting decor and things including a working record player with some old records which was very fun to use. I would recommend and stay again.

Absolutely loved this Airbnb. I wanted a private getaway for my girlfriend and I so I could propose to her the same weekend. Everything was absolutely perfect. The location was very private and quiet - Fawnskin is a gem. I loved the 70s style decor, an old school Nintendo, and more. And while maintaining that vibe, nothing felt outdated or old. The bedding was also extremely comfortable. The deck was great for enjoying breakfast in the morning overlooking some beautiful views, or enjoying the Jacuzzi tub to relax. If I could list any improvement, it would be to make sure everything is working - the record player had a broken needle so we couldn't use that, but didn't take away from our experience here. Also one of the bedrooms gets bright in the morning as the drapes are more sheer behind the bed. The other bedroom didn't have that issue. Communication wise, the management company was great, responsive, flexible, and helpful. Check-in/out was a breeze. I would 100% come back!
