Stay in this unique accommodation and let yourself be carried away by the sounds of nature. The Rose Villa is in Montepetuso, a small fraction of Positano. It is accessible through a pedestrian street, which starts from the central square of the town, piazza "Cappella" and about 30 steps. The distance from the center of Positano is 15 minutes by bus or car. The accommodation can accommodate 2 people; It has a mezzanine with a double bed, a bathroom, and a kitchenette on the ground floor. A little part of the external entrance to the accommodation is a video surveillance area with small cameras. The internal space is about 40 square meters and is spread over two levels; on the ground floor there is the kitchen, with gas hob, gas oven, small electric oven, dishwasher, basic cooking utensils, a dining table with chairs, fridge, 42-inch satellite TV, bathroom with shower. The mezzanine is accessed via a wooden staircase. The mezzanine offers a double bed, a wardrobe, a 32-inch satellite TV, a window overlooking the garden and the entrance.

This was our first girls trip traveling to Positano! Such a lovely experience! 10/10. Small town feel 10 minute bus ride from downtown. The accommodations made us feel right at home, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We never want to leave!

We had a great time at the Rose Villa! First, Monica was very helpful with helping us set up a driver to get us to the Airbnb, which was so helpful, as public transportation would have been very difficult. Vittoria welcomed us and made sure our stay was perfect. The Airbnb was stocked with everything we could need and was so cute! We met Francesco as well, who was so welcoming and took great care of us. Overall, we had such an amazing experience and really enjoyed our short stay and how all of our hosts made us feel!

Had an amazing stay in Positano. The place is a bit further out from the main area however the bus is a few minutes a way and comes every hour (way cheaper then arranging a transfer or cab). There is a supermarket and an amazing restaurant nearby. The hosts were amazing and made us feel at home. The place is even nicer than the photos! Highly recommend :)

Absolutely incredible! Villa the rose air bnb was spectacular and beyond beautiful – inside and out! I cannot recommend this place enough. Vittoria and Francesco were so welcoming, communicative, and helpful in every aspect. The best hosts!! The location was very peaceful, with an amazing view, quiet neighborhood, and within walking distance to the local market, restaurants, and bus stop. The home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Additionally, the kitchen had everything needed to cook full Italian meals. My husband and I were so comfortable, we almost didn’t want to leave! If you want to stay in a very warm and welcoming Italian home with lovely hosts and beautiful surroundings, this is the place! I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Vittoria, Francesco, and Monica!

We had such an amazing stay in Montepertuso! The Airbnb was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here, it’s just up the way from Positano which was very busy and at times hectic. Montepertuso was much more relaxed, the restaurants there were great and the people were so kind. The bus down comes every 30 minutes to an hour depending on the time of day and only costs 1.30 euros. You can buy your tickets at the local store. Francesco and Vittoria were fabulous hosts! They went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect visit. We would definitely visit here again!

The property is in the town Montepertuso, above Positano, 3 km far away from the highest area of Positano, around 6 km far away from the town center and the big beach.
There are approximately 30 stairs to climb up from the central square of the town and a long alley before arriving at the entrance.
Once you are in the town Montepertuso, you have to walk a few stairs and through a long lane for 3 minutes, after having passed the square. You should take the right near the square exactly near the Montepertuso grocery store.
The village is very quiet.
This enchanting little town was reachable only by a staircase, by walking up to 1500 steps, until not many decades ago when the road was built. Now the old town can be reached in just a few minutes from Positano by car or bus, as explained, though the stairs and trails remain for those who like a nice walk.
Montepertuso's origins are lost in time.
Its name comes from the massive natural hole in the rock (Montepertuso means "pierced rock" literally).
The village is small but charming and offers splendid views, along with some good restaurants (with panoramic terraces, perfect at sunset!).
There are some good walking trails that depart from here to explore the other outlying hamlets set in the terraced hills.
Montepetuso has only one main road. The rest is made up of alleys and staircases.

There is a local bus, that departs every half an hour from the central square in Positano, the Piazza dei Mulini for the town of Montepertuso.
The ride takes 15 minutes depending from the town center of Positano to the Montepertuso, where the house is.
The beach is approximately 20 minutes far from the accommodation.
You can take the bus under the Piazza Cappella in Montepertuso;
Onece arrived at the bus terminal in Positano, you have to walk from the lowest area of Positano, to the beach;
the beach is only pedestrian.
A ticket costs €1,30 per person, per ride if bought in advance before boarding in the Minimarket not far from the property.
