Amazing stay at Henry’s house! The apartment building is newly constructed and has a beautiful interior. The house is neat and tidy, bathroom was also well-cleaned (no loose hair at drainage etc.). Check in & check out processes was extremely easy and hassle-free. Convenience stores such as 7-11 and Family Mart is extremely nearby - abt 1 min walk to 7-11 and a 3 mins walk to Family Mart. It would be even better if the mall beside the apartment was built so that we could shop ard the mall.. (construction have not started during the time of my stay 03/24). There may be lesser food options around the vicinity however it is a 15 minutes walk to the Taichung HSR station which is very accessible and wallet-friendly if you’re reaching the airbnb by public transport. Overall, had a pleasant experience staying here!

If you’re a Taiwanese, this place might work well for you. As a foreigner, you might run into a lot of problems, as we did. First, the address given on the AirBnb was incorrect (may have been corrected since), so despite the fact that we took a cab on the advise of the host, we were left stranded by the roadside with our luggage’s at night in winter, after a long flight - cold and hungry. The host refused to come and meet us where we were and insisted we made our way to an address they later provided. However, the address didn’t show up our phone maps so there was no way for us to make our way ourselves. After more than an hour, the host sent a taxi to come pick us (but the taxi was actually too small because we had luggages including a baby cot…). We had to pay for the taxi ourselves. Oops. Hit the word limit. Other issues: no parking for foreigners, no kitchen knife… To be fair, owner did offer a discount eventually.

Great place, conveniently located near HSR and local train stations. New, clean and well kept. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Parking your car can be a challenge but usually there is space around the corner near the train station.
