Phillip’s place is the most well equipped AirBnB I have been to. He goes as far as to provide toiletries, basic spices and a kitchen with every necessary tool even for a long stay. The place is very well decorated and has beautiful views from the balconies on both sides. It was a pleasure staying there. The location is very central, although a bit hard to reach (on a hill with a one way road) especially at rush hour. All of the reasons above are why I am still putting 5 stars. However, one important warning: There is no pool there! It’s basically a half-dug hole, and according to the building manager, there is no plan to finish building it in years to come…

Stayed at Phillip’s place for a month and had a wonderful stay. The apartment is just as pictured, very spacious with a beautiful view of Kampala. We worked remotely during our stay and WiFi worked well. We had two times a week cleaning which was essential since it can get a little bit dusty in Kampala depending on if it has rained much that week or not. We also had an amazing breeze coming through the apartment which we loved. We would highly recommend staying here during your trip to Uganda.

Phillip was a great host. He was very responsive and very flexible as our travel plans to Kampala got very delayed. He stayed up extremely late to meet us with a very positive attitude. He checked on us almost daily to see if we needed anything and even provided us some great recommendations. As for the apartment, it was greatly situated in the city with lots of options for restaurants and places to grab a drink. Very walkable to lots of restaurants and establishments. If we took a taxi, it was typically no more than a 10 minute ride. The apartment was very clean and looked like the pictures. It was a very nice apartment with lots of space and great views of the city at the front and the back. The building was gated with 24 hour security.I would recommend this place to anyone that visits Kampala and want to be close to everything. Thank you Phillip for hosting us and being so understanding of our travel plans and for being very helpful. It was all very much appreciated
