Everything was perfect. Really big apartment, close to the center and really clean. Bed super comfortable!

We had an very unfortunate experience at Katie’s place! We visit Hartford regularly to spend time with an elderly relative. The place itself with respect to its rooms and amenities, is a little run down, but adequate. Our first night there was a dog barking on the upstairs floor, from about 8 pm to 1:30 am. From the volume and number of footsteps it sounded like someone was playing fetch or catch with the dog. We sent a message to Katie, and her partner responded that they would take care of it. However the next night the footsteps pounded up and down the stairs for hours. The night after that was more barking dog, and the last night the heavy footsteps began about two in the morning and carried on for some time. This was a very unsatisfactory stay for us!

This place has lots of room. It is bigger than it looks in the photos. It is an old building which has its charm but was not quite as nice as in the photos. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated which was great. The location was great for us as it was just a few minutes from our daughter's home in West Hartford. The hosts were very responsive. The bathtub backed up and they came within an hour and fixed it. They were very accessible and we really liked their quick response to our requests. Overall it was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Katie’s place was so clean and well maintained. Great communication and we had everything we needed. Great communication and flexible! Our dogs were comfortable and we felt very safe taking them for walks. Convenient to local shops and restaurants.
