We had a blissfully relaxing break at the villa. The property was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with magnificent views towards the coast. We enjoyed swimming in the excellent pool and using the luxurious hot tub, which was spectacular at night with the sunset and the sea of lights in the valley. It was wonderful to explore the extensive grounds, with all their secret spots, and we were thrilled to see Mediterranean chameleons in the trees around the house. Our week in Vila Pôr do Sol was the most joyful holiday experience and we look forward to returning one day. Our children have made memories that they will cherish their whole lives and my wife, who is a novelist, has come away feeling inspired and ready to meet the deadline for her next book. Nicolas was a particularly helpful and courteous host, and it was a pleasure to communicate with him. Five stars.

we Booked as we have stayed at a similar villa a few years back and had been impressed then, however the facilities here including the view were even better. There are so many places to sit and relax we never got around to using them all. the Pool was large, the loungers comfortable, with enough umbrella's. Every bedroom had an en-suite & Aircon.
