Our shepherds hut has outstanding panoramic views of the mountains and is overlooking the valley below. You have unlimited free use of our hot tub throughout your stay which overlooks the outstanding views . You will soak up the the peace and tranquility of this rural area with total privacy , whilst listening to the sounds of the birds chirping . The hut has a cosy fire and is decorated with a luxurious , stylish and comfortable finish. The stunning north coast is only a 25 min drive away . The shepherds hut is a compact comfortable space equipped with everything you need for a short stay. There is a double bed and a fold up small double bed is available to accommodate a further two guests should you require this. There is a small kitchen with appliances and breakfast bar area , bathroom with shower and cosy electric fire ,comfortable chairs, Tv and fan. Outside there is a patio area and garden with a large picnic table. This is situated beside a large hottub underneath a gazebo.

Lovely relaxing stay at this secluded cabin in beautiful surroundings. Louiseanne was proactive and friendly and the entire experience was stressfree.

Perfect getaway, an amazing space, just perfect, a comfortable and relaxing place to stay, I would highly recommend, Louiseanne is a great host, and looks after the guests extremely well with a welcome basket. Hot tub was excellent.

Louiseanne’s place was lovely! The hot tub stayed warm throughout our stay and it was in a peaceful, secluded area. The welcome pack was a very thoughtful touch. Once heated, the hut was very warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the TV (with Netflix) was great for a movie night! It would be nice to have some extra towels/robes for the hot tub as it can be cold walking in and out of the hot tub. Overall we had a great time and everything was super! Thank you very much for a great stay.

Thank you for allowing is to stay, great peaceful location, only 6 minute drive to garvagh town centre, the welcome pack on arrival was lovely and Hot tub was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

The Shepherds hut is located on a very peaceful quiet road on the outskirts of Garvagh town. The hut has un interrupted views of the mountains , valley and countryside . The north coast including Portrush and Portstewart are within a 25-30 min drive approximately . The town of Coleraine is within a 20 min drive approximately and L’Derry city is a 35 min drive approximately. Gortnamoyagh Forest where you can explore and find the ancient inauguration site and footsteps are within walking distance .

There is a free parking space available for guests outside the shepherd hut.
It is set in a very rural location on the outskirts of Garvagh town and the nearest bus stop is available on the Main Street in Garvagh .
The quiet roads surrounding the shepherds hut are very suitable and popular with cyclists. There is a cycle trail in Garvagh forest which is 2 miles from the hut .
