Cute place but overpriced for the area ($850/2 nights). We ended up booking due to size of party & animal friendly. Within an hour of check in the property manager drove by & requested additional “pet fee” that was never mentioned anywhere in the listing. The next afternoon we were messaged with instructions for check out which were excessive. Host expected us to wash towels, 4 sets of sheets, dishes, & take out the trash. Meanwhile we paid $130 cleaning fee and arrived to a dusty counter & hair in the bathtub. I tried explaining to the host that this wouldn’t be possible to complete 4-6 hrs of laundry before a 10AM check out as we needed to sleep on the sheets & she was insensitive & ultimately unresponsive. What was meant to be a nice family trip to ended up being stressful & anxiety ridden as I spent most of the time dealing with the host. I left around 4AM & my poor 65 year old dad stayed up doing laundry- worried he would be further charged. Stay somewhere else & enjoy it.

Amy’s cottage was the perfect stay for our family spring break trip! Very clean and cozy. We loved the location (only a few miles from our diamond digging adventure). The house was very well thought out and curated. Extremely happy with our stay :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! Not only is the historic architecture incredible, but there are many antique furniture pieces inside the home that you don’t find in a typical airbnb. With only 1 full bathroom, the wet vanity in the second bedroom was a great solution. The kitchen was newly renovated and the range/oven were outstanding. Having the fenced front yard for our dog was also a huge plus while enjoying the porch swings. Amy was responsive to questions leading up to and during our stay. Would highly recommend this home for your time in the area.

Amy is a wonderful host, very responsive and her home is just beautiful. We loved the comfortable beds, beautiful interior, great shower, and great kitchen area. Definitely recommend Amy as a host along with her beautiful home!
