The property manager was fantastic with communication. Unfortunately a couple of hours after check in and getting settled there was a gas smell near the oven. The manager responded right away, and admitted the cleaning staff had also mentioned a gas smell. We aired the place out, and when I asked what gas company I should call if there are any issues I was told that the owner said I would be responsible for charges if I called the gas company. This didn’t sit well, considering a gas leak is unsafe. I also requested over a month in advance if the code to the house could be changed as it was given when I booked, meaning they never change it. We were told it was a safe neighborhood and to not worry as they were not able to change it due to system not working. Overall the house matches the pics, except the lanai is more weathered. The mold and gas smell was a turn off as well as owners response, it made it not a relaxing stay. We also had to vacuum the couch & clean areas upon arrival

I am a native Ocalan and I loved staying at this location. It felt just like home and was large enough for our six guest. I would book this place again!
