A 400 year old house, adjoined to the owner's home, it has lots of character features and has been lovingly and stylishly modernised to a high standard. The stand out features for us were how spacious, clean and well equipped the property was. We would certainly use this accommodation again next time we are in the area visiting family. I can recommend The Lion Bar and Grill at the bottom of the hill for food if you are looking for an alternative to the pub across the road. Overall excellent experience 👌

Absolutely cannot recommend Roz’s place enough! We stayed for three nights over Christmas 2023 and our only regret is we didn’t book for longer. The cottage is stunning inside, beautifully and tastefully decorated with lots of original features, high ceilings upstairs and exposed beams. It was a real cosy hideaway with everything you could need. The hosts left us mince pies and chocolate, put up Christmas decorations and made us feel really at home. We were thrilled. There were cosy, comfortable beds, a huge bath with spa lights, an excellent shower room and a very well equipped kitchen and utility room. The place was spotlessly clean. There’s restaurants very nearby and excellent walks for the dog. We would absolutely stay again. Thanks so much to Roz & Matt
