I have stayed in dozens and dozens of AirBNBs and this one may be our absolute favorite in the US. This family has gone above and beyond to create a beautiful farm for themselves and their guests. The bathroom is a destination all its own! We had so much fun petting the animals and seeing the bison. We made friends with Marcus the donkey! The kitchen and outdoor cooking areas were very well-stocked. They have eggs, bison, bath-bombs, locally-made coffee for sale and you can do a number of activities on the farm for a reasonable price. We came for the eclipse, but took advantage of the bison meat and eggs and had a great time grilling out at night and having a beautiful outdoor breakfast. We took a walk around the ponds and through the woods and trails. Our hosts were so sweet and friendly. And the sunsets were gorgeous. The bunk beds were comfy and plenty of room for the 5 grown kids/grownups. The Smiths definitely have something magical here and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a lovely week on the property. The bunkhouse was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The hosts were very accomodating and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our kids loved fishing, seeing all of the animals and taking the golf cart along the trails in the woods. We would love to go back one day.

Marie and the farm were amazing. The bunk house was extremely clean and comfortable. There were lots of fluffy towels, comfortable beds and good coffee. Our family absolutely loved the opportunity to enjoy the animals, hike the trails and fish. Just those things made it all worthwhile. The bunk house is one big room, which is great for a family, and is still very spacious. We bought ground bison from the farm and made an amazing meal with it when we got home. If you have time to grab pizza at the winery, do…it is beautiful.

We had such an enjoyable time at The Bison Bunkhouse. I’m not sure which memory stands out the most—great fishing, gentle animals to feed, night time golf cart rides, peaceful morning coffee breaks, swimming in the pond, delicious bison burgers, soaking in the tub while watching our faves—I could go on and on. Before our long weekend was even over, our kids (8-13 years old) were all asking when we could return. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous farm with us!
