Great remote place not too far from Cabarete

We had a great weekend celebrating my 40th birthday at this house! The staff was awesome! View was beautiful. About a 10 minute drive to the closest town, not walkable. But the drivers were very responsive. The beach there is dirty :( Would be nice if they had cleaned it up and raked away the debris. Ocean was very rough! Pool was very cold! Hot tub not hot. Other than that we had a great trip! Thanks for having us!

Alex‘s house exceeded our expectations overall. The house is absolutely beautiful and our group had a wonderful time. The cleaning staff was wonderful and provided us with everything we needed daily. The air conditioning broke in one of the rooms and they were incredibly responsive and got it fixed right away. The security guard was there 24/7 and we felt very safe. The chef, Rossy and her team were absolutely amazing and we recommend them to everyone who comes to the house. They made our stay perfect as they prepare, plate and clean everything. The spot is ideal for an older group as it may not be as well suited for children- the pool is not heated and the ocean has a very strong current so it’s hard to swim. The surrounding neighborhood is not walkable, so you are limited to walk on the beach and most areas are under developed, or abandoned from hurricanes or lack of upkeep. There are cows on the beach at times which was pretty special! Overall we loved it!

Book this home! The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults 3 kids. The location can’t be beat, we had the beach to ourselves all week. The turquoise water was breathtaking, & the best part-no seaweed! We went horseback riding on the beach from our backyard. The incredible house staff made our stay worry-free. Rosy's chef services were out of this world! Miguelita & Walto truly felt like family. They prepared mouthwatering 5-star meals that accommodated all our dietary restrictions. Sori & her sister kept the house clean & tidy, allowing us to fully relax. We were able to get out & explore so much of the DR thanks to our driver Joel. He navigated the roads with ease which is no easy task! Carlos & Fredy provided 24-hr security at the house, ensuring our safety & peace of mind. The owner, Alex, was always super responsive. He connected me ahead of time with Rosy & Joel. We can't recommend this vacation home enough. It provided the perfect mix of luxury, relaxation & adventure!

The home was very nice. However, the photos were misleading. The kitchen looked very tired and under the sink was gross it really needs an upgrade. The dishwasher was pretty unsafe it moved around when opening and closing. The kick plate that runs along the length of the kitchen kept coming loose and falling off. Looked like it has had some major leaks. The bathrooms were clean but again in need of an update. The front door would not close or lock properly. We were aware there was no air conditioning in the main area of the home. This meant we could not sit in that area without having the front and back doors open as it was far to hot otherwise. The road leading to the home was unfinished and dangerous to walk along. There was lots of construction going on so it was quite noisy. The home was very remote and there was no book or list to tell guests what restaurants deliver food, as we were warned not to go out after dark. For the amount we paid we were very disappointed.
