The Summerhouse is in the idyllic village of Tarrant Hinton in the South West of England with many local picturesque walks and cycling trails.
The village is one of several small communities with a Tarrant name prefix along the seven and a half mile tributury, which runs into the River Stour. As well as Tarrant Hinton, they are Tarrant Gunville, Tarrant Launceston, Tarrant Monkton, Tarrant Rawston, Tarrant Rushton, Tarrant Keyneston and Tarrant Crawford.
The village is close to large towns such as Blandford Forum and Salisbury yet far enough from the maddening crowd. It is approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) north-east of Blandford Forum. Wimborne, Dorchester, Bournemouth, Poole and Southampton, as well as the New Forest are within driving distance. As is the Jurassic Coastline, which has the beautiful Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and other beaches close enough to visit.
As well as the Tarrant valley's renowned spectacular scenery with easy and challenging walks. Tarrant Hinton is probably best known as the location of the Great Dorset Steam Fair in August.
You do need a car or bike, but there are buses to Blandford and Salisbury, Weymouth.
自我介绍
We moved to Tarrant Hinton village in 2012 from Berkshire. We love it down here in Dorset as it is so lovely and peaceful, especially looking out over the fantastic views. We both love the country style living and want to give you a good stay. We hope you will want to enjoy all that Dorset can offer.
