Brontë is beautiful. This property was perfect for us as a family of 6 staying for a wedding. Brontë High St us fab for coffee brunch spots overlooking the sea - lovely and Brontë beach both walkable Beautiful stay
Great location and easy access to bus services to get to Bondi Junction, Bondi and City. I would think twice about staying here with young children die to access to the property and staircase. The staircase going down to kitchen is upon you immediately as you open the door and two of the 3 bedrooms are at the top of the stairs. The property had near on not been cleaned when we arrived. Dirt, mould and Soap residue in bathrooms which was absolutely unacceptable. cupboards with hair, window and door frames full of dust and deaf ants, kitchen cupboard with oil, condiment stains and a few dishes in cupboard were not clean. we reported this to hosts who were responsive and sent another cleaner upon our request but unfortunately it still wasn't up to scratch and expectations for cost. Distinct Wet smell in lower floor kitchen area. Showers also had empty bottles of shower gel and laundry empty bottles of laundry liquid. overall great location, responsive hosts but we wouldn't stay again.

Annie is a great host and the house is in a fantastic location, we really enjoyed walking to beach and cafes. Garage car park is very practical and links through to the house. It is a good size for 5 people and has nice decor. Beds are comfortable and nice linen. Unfortunately the house is damp and has mould on the downstairs bedroom walls and bathroom. The house smells musty. Downstairs in the living areas the air conditioning unit is great, however it does not reach upstairs. We were there during a hot humid week and it was very uncomfortable/stifling in the upstairs bedrooms even with fans on and trying various doors open/closed. Bathroom cabinetry and some appliances such as the dishwasher need updated for this price point.
