The Chateau was fantastic. We were 2 families and it was the perfect place to relax and visit sites all over the region. Nathalie was extremely helpful and gave us great recommendations for day trips, wineries and restaurants. The pool, pool table and pingpong table were a hit with the kids. Merci Nathalie!

Excellent weekend de 4 jours passés au Chateau Couffins à Asques. Le chateau est vraiment très bien entretenu par sa proprietaire Nathalie, il est tres fonctionnel et nous en avons tiré bien plus de staisfactions que nous en attendions. Je souligne également la qualité de la literie qui est assez surprenante pour une location. De manière générale, Nathalie s'est montrée très serviable en nous communiquant les bonnes adresses et c'était très precieux. Un grand merci pour ces fabuleux souvenirs.

Storybook wedding. That’s the only word to describe it. We held our daughter’s wedding at Château Couffins in October. It was a destination wedding, and after asking our guests to cross an ocean, we were seeking a venue that could comfortably accommodate the entire party in one place. The château is gorgeous and sprawling, every guest had their own bedroom, there was beautifully appointed parlor for conversation, and the great table in the kitchen made every meal feel like a banquet after a hunting party. The grounds are bucolic, from the river that runs along the property’s edge, to the cows peacefully grazing in the pasture. The swimming pool was crisp and inviting, and straight out of a Fitzgerald novel. Besides being a comfortable country estate, the old-world decadence of the house and the beauty of the trees and the grounds provided the perfect backdrop for the wedding. The grounds were large enough for the ceremony, the tent for the meal, the band, and even lawn games, with room to spare. Access to the Château’s wine cellar is not to be overlooked. The wine they produce is excellent. Natalie was very easy to work with and communicated very quickly to answer all our questions. She met us at check in and check out and even stopped in the day of, just to make sure everything was running smoothly. Everything did run smoothly. We could not have found a more perfect place than Château Couffins.

Beautiful Chateau for our rustic fall wedding. We rented the Chateau for our wedding weekend in October and it was everything we hoped it would be. We had our close friends and family stay in the Chateau with us for the weekend and everyone loved it. Nathalie was an excellent host. She was very responsive to all our inquiries leading up to our stay and made many wonderful suggestions for wedding vendors. This was very helpful as we planned our event from overseas ourselves. During our stay we realized there were not enough towels for all our guests but Nathalie responded right away to our concern and brought more within a few hours. The Chateau itself is gorgeous, exactly as pictured with the French country charm we envisioned for our big day. It is carefully preserved inside with tasteful antique furnishings. The grounds are beautiful and it was a difficult decision to pick a place to hold our wedding ceremony – the views from everywhere outside are spectacular! The downstairs reception area (ground level) was perfect for dinner and dancing. There was plenty of space for tables and a dance floor. The wine cellar was very convenient and the wine itself was delightful and reasonably priced. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend the Chateau to anyone.
