Fantastic place for relaxing. A deep immersion in the green surrendered by very interesting old places to visit and walk through. Nice welcome from the host and great assistance during the permanence. Nice isolated backyard where to sit and read a good book. I hope I'll have other occasions to visit again the place.
It’s the perfect base when visiting The Fox Inn, Rugby club, Kinver Edge, West Midlands Safari Park, Black Country Museum, Birmingham, Worcestershire, Dudley and Wolverhampton.
There is plenty to explore nearby. The beautiful Stourton canal is a stone’s throw away. The black country museum is a firm favourite with visitors. Children love it and adults love walking in the footsteps of Thomas Shelby and cast, as it was one of the film locations for Peaky Blinders. Should you want to get wild on safari, take a 20-minute drive to West Midlands Safari Park.
Stourbridge is a buzzing little town; it has a good selection of shops and cafes along its high street. The town itself is beholds the history of glass making. So be sure to visit The Ruskin Glass Centre, where you can spend the day watching how glass is made. However, if designer shopping at Selfridges, cocktails, music venues and theatres are on the agenda, be sure to visit the city lights of nearby Birmingham.
Worcester is also worth a visit, you can shop until you drop in the quirky boutique, to the backdrop of cathedral and historical architecture.
