Let your pups roam the fenced in backyard while you enjoy a dip in the refreshing pool. Just an hour outside D.C. and centrally located to several wineries, attractions and venues, this lovely home is your next perfect getaway! The Highland House is situated on 10 secluded acres in the countryside of Loudoun County, VA, right in the heart of wine country. There are 4 beautifully decorated Scottish themed bedrooms. The Primrose is upstairs and is the largest bedroom with a king bed, walk in closet, TV, adjoining bathroom and a private balcony. It also has a window that overlooks the main living area downstairs. The Thistle is also upstairs and has two full size beds with closets, a desk and a TV. The large window behind the beds provide some amazing light in this room! The Stag is on the main level and has two twin beds as well as a door to access the backyard. Downstairs is the Bluebell, a nicely decorated room with a king bed and a closet. The other part of the basement has a nice recreation area with a TV. All TVs are equipped with a Roku device so that you can stream your favorite shows from your personal account. The house has a lovely wrap around porch, a nice living room space with games, puzzles and books, large kitchen with several appliances, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. There are two bathrooms: one full bathroom on the main level with a walk in shower and a large bathroom upstairs with a double vanity and tub. There is also a 2 car garage that is fully accessible for guests. The Highland House welcomes up to 2 dogs up to 50 lbs and is very pet friendly with waterproof floors, gated kitchen area and porch, waterproof furniture coverings and a fenced in yard! If you are bringing your pup, please make sure to add them to your reservation. There is a $125 pet fee for each stay for up to 2 dogs. In the fenced in backyard there is also a private pool that is open from Memorial Day-Labor Day. Please note that there is not a separate fence around the pool. On the property, there is a spring fed pond, creek, footbridges and a gazebo that give the area a park like setting. It's a great space to walk around and enjoy nature!
