I really enjoyed my stay at Wagon Wheel. Amy was over-the-top helpful. There are trails, shops, restaurants, and more just a short walk away. This is also a great location to hit many 14ers. The cabin was very cozy with some modern features like a nice floor and comfy couch. I'm not sure how well 4 people would fit in there, depending on how many bags you bring. Also keep in mind some of the cabins are connected and not very soundproof so loud neighbors can be a bit disruptive.

Cozy rustic cabin, clean and comfortable. The only thing was a lack of a few kitchen basics such as cooking oil, etc which meant a trip to the local supermarket before we could use the full kitchen even though we did bring ingredients for cooking dinner in a cooler. This was a very small thing however given the overall comfort and value of the cabin and I would stay again and simply bring everything we might need.

This cabin looks just like the pictures! It’s in a great location, close to downtown, the ice park, and also to the trailhead we used to get to mt wetterhorn and Uncompahgre. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. This is a great place to stay year around!

Lovely clean cabin in Lake City. Managers are friendly and helpful. Check in and check out is easy. Highly recommended if in Lake City for hiking, ATVs, or anything else.
