You will have the property all to yourself including full use of the first floor with entrance, kitchen with a shower built into the kitchen bench, living room with daybed and sofa bed as well as a separate sleeping chamber with a double bed. You will find the outdoor toilet in the barn where you will also find plenty of wood for the two fireplaces. Note that the doorway to the second floor is unlocked in case you need access to the fuse box. Please, do not enter this private area unless there is a electricity issue. There is no toilet inside the cabin, but a very nice out door toilet through the right hand door in the barn. An open hearth in the sleeping chamber is equipped with oil burning fire pit (do not use wood). Electric heaters are available and on low heat between visitors. In the wintertime it is advisable to arrive early to ensure the cottage is heated before bedtime, this is the reason the check-in time is set to 12 noon and checkout before 11 am. You are welcome to use the fire pit outside the cabin, just make sure it is covered before leaving. There is a snow shovel just around the corner from the entrance in case you need to clear snow in front of the doorway and out to the barn. The snow is always cleared from the driveway. Bring your own bed linen and towels. The duvets have protective linen that are clean and changed regularly. You have the choice to either put your own duvet cover over the top of what's already there, or alternatively remove the existing covers and replace them at the end of your stay. Pets are welcome to stay, as long as they are kept off the furniture.
