Just a 3 minute walk to the beach! A lovely restored cottage with character, cosy & welcoming .Tonel Cottage has 2 bedrooms . Priced for 2 guests but can comfortably accommodate up to 4 with a small supplement per extra guest. Very well equipped, close to all beaches, great for surfing and a perfect location close to Sagres town centre & Fortaleza, nearby to the natural park reserve and many amazing beaches. Sheltered private garden with table/chairs, bbq and sunshade ideal for outdoor dinning. Carefully restored & modernised, a lovely cosy character cottage with exposed wooden beams, natural tile floors, thick rounded walls, 2 very comfortable bedrooms - a private double bedroom and an upstairs bedroom with 2 single beds, a double sofa-bed in the living room, 2 bathrooms and a perfect location. So close to the beach you can walk down in 3 minutes. Free superfast Fibre Optic internet WIFI, Bluetooth stereo, cable and internet TV, solar hot water, linen and bath towels & essentials provided. The cottage has its own private and sunny patio garden with table, chairs, sunshade, bbq and lush plants ideal for alfresco dining. Parking is free on the cobbled street right outside. Tonel neighbourhood is the oldest original spot in Sagres. Very close to the beaches and also a short 5 minute stroll to the town centre it is the perfect location. Near to the Fortaleza of Sagres. We recommend hiring a car to make the most of this amazing area. It is an easy 90 minute drive from Faro airport. There are also buses to and from Lagos every hour or so during the day, and from Lagos there are buses and trains all over the country. We have surfboards to rent from €15 per day!

This was probably one of the best stays I have ever experienced so far in my life. Beautiful sunsets by the beach, friendly people, and amazing food. I highly recommend you visit here. 5/5
Heath was a very friendly and welcoming host and met us to check us in. The cottage was spacious and comfortable with good kitchen facilities and two bathrooms. It had a nice beach vibe. We enjoyed being walking distance to Tonel beach and restaurants. We had a car which we parked in the street in front of the cottage. Heath gave us a recommendation for hiring a surfboard and where to go for some good waves. We would recommend staying at Tonel Cottage when visiting Sagres.
Our stay at the cottage was very peaceful and enjoyable. We felt really at home and the place is very well designed with natural materials and a homely environment. Heath was very helpful and accommodating to our needs and all of the main places/beaches around Sagres are in easy reach of his place. Would definitely stay again in future.
Cette maison est un petit bijoux, chaleureux et invitant. La localisation est tout simplement parfaite, à quelques minutes de Mareta beach et Tonel beach et aussi de nombreux bons restaurants. Nous ne pouvions espérer meilleur endroit à Sagres. Nous y retournerons bientôt !!
Wir hatten die beste Zeit in Sagres mit Heath, seinem Sohn und seinen hinreißenden Hund Bex! Heath ist total nett, hilfsbereit und war zu jeder Zeit für einen Plausch zu haben. Er wohnt direkt nebenan. Seine Tipps für die umliegenden Surf-Spots haben uns sehr geholfen uns schnell zurechtzufinden. Das Cottage ist wunderschön und mit vielen liebevollen Details ausgestattet - Es ist alles da was man braucht. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

Tonel Cottage is in the oldest area in Sagres, a cobbled street with small whitewashed cottages and local fishermen. Elevated above and just a few minutes walk away from the beach and coast-path.
Enjoy the last sunset in mainland Western europe. Very friendly. Close to everything.

We are from Cornwall, England and moved here in 2008. We love the outdoor life, here with beautiful beaches and countryside. Love the nature, the sea, the fresh food and the friendly Portuguese people. We live in Sagres and are nearby if you need anything. Mostly our time is spent busy running the business and enjoying meeting our lovely visitors, walking our dogs and being outside. We have previously travelled to Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and Caribbean, Gibraltar, Spain, France, Italy & Morocco. Likes: surfing, music, travel, friends, holidays.
