The check-in process was far from seamless. I had let Ayet know far in advance roughly what time I would be arriving and even messaged him en route from the airport to apprise him of our new arrival time, which would have been 15 minutes early ahead of the official check-in time. When we did arrive, he seemed flustered to see us there and asked us to wait in one of the bedrooms while he finished cleaning, promising it to be no more than 30 minutes. 2 hours later -- and a lot of drilling as he's installing new art pieces on the walls -- and finally we were allowed to settle in. The following day, out of the blue he called to ask to come in, as a new TV apparently needed to installed at that very moment. I had to cancel school classes for my children, since the noise made teaching impossible. I had the feeling that he would've entered the apartment even if I wasn't home to let him in. There is a mosque directly across the street, and the morning call to prayer starts at 4:30 am in May.

AYET est un hôte très accueillant et il m’a chaleureusement accueilli lors de mon arrivé. C’était un jour de carême. Je n’avais pas mangé et dès qu’il l’a su, il m’a préparé un plat. J’ai vraiment beaucoup apprécié. Il a été disponible pour moi lorsque j’en ai eu besoin, l’appartement était propre et tous les ustensiles étaient disponibles. Le seul problème du lieu, c’est la servitude en transports publics, qui n’était pas idéal, seul les bus étaient à proximité. Pour le reste il n’y a rien à dire.

My Istanbul retreat was a blissful experience thanks to this charming apartment. Its proximity to public transportation simplified my explorations of the city, while the peaceful ambiance of the building provided a welcome respite from the urban hustle. The apartment is clean, with all amenities one needs, specially if you are staying for a longer period. Yet, what truly elevated my stay was the exceptional attentiveness of the landlord. Their genuine hospitality and eagerness to assist with any request made me feel valued and cared for throughout my visit. If you seek a tranquil haven in Istanbul, this apartment is the perfect choice. With its convenient location, serene atmosphere, and attentive landlord, it offers an exceptional experience that I whole recommend.

I am very happy staying in this flat. Flat is amazing and host is very hospitable. We arrived little bit early and he offered his house to sit with turkish tea. Hospitality is on top level and he speaks Engllish very well. Room is very clean and on description it is written no hairdryer but there is hairdryer, iron and all necessary things to live. Overall it is great place and i highly recommend.
