Such a beautiful vacation home. We could not get over the views from every window. But, even more, we were blown away being steps to the beach and witnessing whales just yards away. Sherri was incredible as a host -- so kind, communicative, responsible in every way. Thank you, Sherri.

We are so glad we didn't let the fact that it only had one bathroom keep us from renting this house. The living area, covered porch, huge table for puzzling, and large picture windows were what we enjoyed the most. We had the beach all to ourselves almost the entire time. It was so peaceful going out with our dog and walking the beach. She loved fetching sticks from the water and didn't let the cold water deter her. If this house had one more bathroom it would be our go-to place every time we rent. The only negative was the shower/bath was so narrow it made me claustrophobic. However, going out and viewing the scenery I got over it quickly. The covered porch furniture was super comfortable! We loved it so much we are going to buy some for our house. Sherri was beyond accommodating and communicative when we blew a fuse in the bathroom.

Bert’s beach house has been one of our favorite stays ever, we came for my wife’s birthday looking for a great outlook for whale watching and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Amazing sunsets and saw some grays traveling up and down the passage. Sherri was also very responsive and had great local guides for the island.

Our stay was exactly what we needed to get through the weekend of a 2 year traumatic loss anniversary. The private beach was spectacular. The neighbors we encountered were friendly. This is a one of a kind beach escape into an earlier time.
