Franklin · 整套民居 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Historic Tiny Home w Hot Tub!
Built circa 1868 this home was one of four “Shot Gun” style row houses originally built on a single lot and intended to be tenant homes for working class families. Hot tub is open year round! You will be close to all of the things Franklin has to offer, like the College, Coffee Shops, Antiques and plenty of dining options within a few blocks from you. We look forward to you making wonderful memories while you are in Franklin! We love pets but we do have a 40 lbs limit. Our tiny home has everything you need to get away and unwind from your daily life. Even though it's small, you will feel right at home. Relax in the back yard around the fire pit or soak in the Hot Tub. We also offer a charcoal grill.
excellent host, absolutely WONDERFUL place, very clean, organized and thoughtfully prepared place. Host did an amazing job creating a very cool and interesting home. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone!
Had a lovely stay. Cute town, super quiet neighborhood and the house was perfect for my weekend stay! Clean, simple and cozy. Will definitely stay again if i find myself in Franklin or close by.
My husband and I came down to celebrate my birthday. We wanted to stay near Nashville to explore. The drive to Nashville was only 20 minutes. Franklin is the cutest little town. Cute shops and restaurants. The place was amazing. So cute and comfy. The hot tub is a plus and fun. We enjoyed our stay and will return again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
We've stayed at this lovely home many times. It's such a gem, and has become our home away from home. This historic house is cozy, warm, & beautifully appointed...both inside and out. And Josh is such a wonderful and responsive host. We'll definitely be back very soon!
We very much enjoyed our stay. Just like the photos. Nice and clean. Couple of extra nice touches. The coffee bar and Roku made things more enjoyable. We loved the hot tub and big bathtub. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. Walkable neighborhood with everything you could need a short drive away.

Finished just three years after the Civil War, this home has endured two World Wars, two Pandemics and The Great Depression. It has witnessed the birth of the automobile, electrification of cities and towns, the first airplane and the first man on the moon; the aridification of polio, the first heart transplant and The Civil Rights Movement just to name a few major events in United States History.
The house has survived 155 years of tornadoes, floods, ice storms , blizzards , droughts and somewhat questionable rehabs and remodels. It is not a perfect house, it has it’s “bumps and bruises” and occasionally will let you know it has had enough ,only to come back for more! So please respect it for what it is and what it will hopefully be in another 155 years!
To make your stay enjoyable , here are a few tips:
Might want to leave the interior doors open to promote the most efficient air flow thru- out the house. Ceiling fans are useful also and are programed for the season as far as rotation.
Please, nothing but toilet tissue products in the toilet. Old plumbing does not respond well to “foreign objects”!
If you use the hot tub there is a locking point on the front of the tub above the steps. Please make sure the cover is closed and locked when not in use.
A privacy fence is in the works, but in the meantime, to avoid the outside security lights illuminating the hot tub, you can flip the upper right breaker switch in the electrical panel and switch off the outside security light. The breaker box is located inside the bedroom on the south wall. The breaker is marked with a “smiley face” to ID it. PLEASE DO THIS WHILE YOU ARE DRY!!!
If you smoke, please do so outside.
Party lights are plugged in at the end of the carport.
There is kindling and dry firewood inside the carport along with a fire starter if you wish to use the firepit.
ENJOY the MAGIC of the TINY HOUSE!!!!!
Apologies for the construction! The Tiny House sits on the very last brick residential street (Yandes Street) in Franklin In. Through the efforts of Franklin Heritage, various individuals and the City of Franklin, the decision was made to invest over 4.1 million dollars in a complete street rehab project to include new brick street pavers, curbs and sidewalks, period lighting and landscaping. Of course, all the not so “noticeable “ items like utilities and storm/sanitary sewers have to go in the ground before all the pretty stuff. The project is anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2023.
The result will truly transform not only this street but the surrounding neighborhood and provide a “Gateway” to the historic east side of Franklin!
