Liang est un hôte très serviable mais méfiez vous. Il vous propose de venir vous chercher et de vous emmener manger etc mais la contrepartie c’est que la note est pour vous sous prétexte que ce serait « inclu ». Alors une fois ça passe mais quand c’est pour un petit déjeuner, puis un dîner et un autre dîner ça commence à faire beaucoup. Sans oublier qu’il ne se gêne pas pour vous commander des plats/boissons que vous n’avez pas demandé et qui seront bien sur à vos frais. Aussi, il vous dira que les bus pour aller à Teman Negara n’existent plus pour vous mettre en relation avec une agence qui vous fera payer 70 ringgit par personne pour l’aller et le retour. (Les bus fonctionnent bel et bien) Dans l’ensemble l’expérience reste bonne, le logement est convenable et propre mais Liang est un escroc c’est dommage.

It was a pleasure to stay at Liang's house. His sister picked us up at a gas station, and we had lunch, and the next day, Liang invited us to a breakfast, and we had the opportunity to get a good overview of the Malaysian culture. if you want to get in contact with locals, we can highly recommend it!

Overall, good accommodation and Liang is a very friendly host who can show you around Jerantut. We personally had a bad sleep due to the noise and he took us to a tour agency for Taman Negara we didn't ask for. Plus: - he provided transport after our bus arrival - very quick to respond - he showed us Jerantut and a festival happening in the neighborhood, thanks again! - house is big, room is clean, washing machine available Minus: - no towels provided - neighborhood was very noisy from 6am - we mentioned we wanted to go to Taman Negara by boat. He told us boats and buses were not active as touristic activities were cancelled for 2 years. So he brought us to an acquaintance to book a bus (35RM each) but it was actually an agency trying to sell us a tour in Taman Negara that we didn't ask for... While in Taman Negara, we learned boats and buses were actually active (we took a boat from Taman Negara to Tembeling Jetty)
