Beautifully styled loft perfect for couples or families with up to 2 kids. Yum Balam building is located in Punta Cocos, the most quiet part of the island. Our location is perfect to enjoy the magic of the island in a more peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and tourism at the island center. Enjoy the pool view and and almost private amazing turquoise shallow water beach which is just steps away. We offer starlink wifi up to 50 megas so connectivity won´t be an issue here! Uniquely designed loft with queen size bed and twin size bunk bed, bathroom and closet area with washer/dryer. Fully equipped kitchen and dining table for you to cook your own meals if you feel like enjoying the property and staying in. Ideal for a relaxing vacation and for guests who want to connect with nature, enjoy the sounds of birds and contemplate beautiful sunsets. The perfect setting for an amazing getaway. We are meters away from the main touristic spot to watch bioluminiscence; a magical phenomenom at night, but you can also watch it from the beach in front of us. If you are a group bigger than 3-4 guests, please let us know so we can share details of other lofts, 2 bedroom apartments and penthouses in the same building!

The unit is exactly as described. Adriana and the team are very responsive and will try to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. The building is out of town, so it's perfect for a quiet and peaceful vacation. Very close to beautiful beaches and a small mini store for essentials, everything else is in town. The bikes they offer are not reliable, so plan on renting newer bikes from a local bike rental store or a golf cart rental if you plan on exploring the island.

La ubicación es super lejana a todo, el estudio no cuenta con habitación, en la misma sala se convierte en cama, el inodoro le tuvimos que estar echando agua con un recipiente y la regadera estaba llena de arena y cabello y no se iba el agua, cuando llegamos el estudio estaba lleno de arena.

We are located in the west end of the island in a very quiet and peaceful area called Punta Cocos, no neighbors around and where you can walk out your door to the beach just steps away. We personally love and enjoy this quiet side of the island and we are sure you will love it as well.
New restaurantes / bars in the area if you want to go out.
We will share recommendations. Some restaurants around have free delivery service to the property.
We are 2.2 kms away from the island center.
Many tourists like walking around the island as it is easy to get around. We also recommend renting a golfcart, utv or bike so you can move easier around in case you are not a big fan of walking under the sun.

To get to Holbox island you have to fly to Cancun´s International Airport. From there you can take an ADO bus, shared shuttle or private transportation to Chiquilá. There are two ferry companies crossing every 30 minutes and private boats.
There´s also private flights to the island for up to 9 people. If interested feel free to ask, we can quote the transportation and help you with the reservation.
