Rob’s spot was the perfect home base for us as we visited family in Pittsboro. Lovely location, peaceful and private. Loved it!

We can see why Rob is considered a Superhost. He's a welcoming, friendly person and maintains a lovely home and grounds for guests. We signed up for a second stay while our new home was being completed, and we really appreciated Rob's help in getting to know the area--where to find restaurants, where to find a good walking trail, where he likes to play tennis, shortcuts to get where we needed to go. Our children and grandson live close by, and Rob was very welcoming to them as well, encouraging us to explore with our grandson the beautifully kept property. The home was very neat and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen and lots of games and puzzles on hand for family fun. We are so fortunate to have found Rob's place and we cannot say enough about his kindness and thoughtfulness as a host.

Hawk's Nest is a lovely little home in the woods next to the house of the host, Rob. Rob made us feel very welcome, and we have loved having the chance for an occasional chat. Rob quickly responded to any questions or little issues, and--since we were there for a month-long stay--he very thoughtfully checked in after a couple of weeks to see if we needed anything. The grounds are beautiful, with birds darting back and forth from the numerous feeders, and deer and squirrels frolicking about. Rob has a wonderful, warm, and peaceful place.

We appreciated being able to stay so close to Pittsboro, but in a relaxing, peaceful setting. We felt Robert's price was very fair and the house had everything we needed ... except for internet, which I hadn't picked up on in the listing, but Robert made sure to check in with us ahead of time and confirm that we were aware of that. Totally appreciated it because we were able to adjust our needs and make it work. Robert was consistently responsive and friendly, the home was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the sound of the frogs from the back porch at night and the birds in the morning was relaxing and enjoyable. We would stay here again!
