Kari’s home in Coburn was a wonderful old home with modern amenities. Everything was as advertised regarding the bedrooms and bathrooms. The home is at the end of a private single lane road, so it was very quiet. Check-in was very easy and there were specific instructions on the kitchen counter waiting for us. Clean house with newly updated bathrooms. Very nice ambiance - would stay again!

This is a great farm style house in a small town on a very quiet street. The Penn's Creek is so close. The area is quaint and a combo of crunchy granola ish people, cyclists, hikers, Amish (or maybe Old Order Mennonite not sure). Poe Paddy and Poe Valley are a beautiful 25 minute drive away and have great fishing and hiking. This house has great bathrooms and is solid... from a bygone era but with updates. The hosts are very communicative. They clearly live here most of the time and come and go and so you will feel very at home. You'll feel like you are living someone else's life for just a little while. I really like that. The homeowners have a lot of spices and natural cures in bottles around the house, it smells good and they have a large Kombucha Scobi in the house. We came here for my birthday, we ate meals at the table, we hiked, we fished and we went into nearby Milheim for coffee and pastries in the morning and a great dinner at the Elk Creek Cafe in the evening.

Beautiful, restored home tucked away in the woods. Stayed for a PSU football weekend but wish we had more time at the house. It’s set right on the water and a quiet community off the beaten path.Two huge full bathrooms and plenty of space for our group of 7. Grabbed coffee and treats just 2 miles away at the Meandering Mallard. Would love to stay again!
