Enjoy the quintessential Maine vacation in this cape cottage, located directly on a sandy beach on Highland Lake. The cottage has two levels. The first level is comprised of the living room, dining room, and kitchen, which features unobstructed 180° views of the lake. There are also two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the first level. The second level features a loft with a private balcony facing the lake, as well as the open primary bedroom which looks upon the main living area. Get an amazing nights' sleep on the new king sized Sleep Number mattress, adjustable to fit your comfort level. The second bathroom (3/4) and washer/dryer are also upstairs. Bedroom 1- king Sleep Number bed Bedroom 2- queen bed Bedroom 3- 2 twin beds (An extra trundle bed is in the upstairs loft as well) Outdoors features a private deck and screened gazebo with string lights to enhance the evening ambiance. There is also a portable log-burning fire pit, a gas grill, and 2 kayaks available. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also provided. Located just 25 minutes from downtown Portland, enjoy all the conveniences of the city while feeling hours away in nature.

This lakeside cottage was perfect! The listing and pictures were exactly as described. Communication and entry into the cottage were both seamless. The cottage was absolutely spotless and comfortable with the lake offering a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals. Appreciated the detailed guide book with local establishment recommendations. If you're looking for a cozy yet spacious cottage with a beautiful view, this one certainly fits the bill. Definitely recommend for a quiet and relaxing lakeside retreat in Maine.
Great cottage for a weekend stay, the weather didn’t cooperate for us, but would have been perfect for warm summer days and nights. Great communication, simple check in check out. Rules and expectations are clearly important and laid out, ensure you read thoroughly before!
What a gorgeous place! The house was well equipped, clean and very spacious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt relaxed and right at home! The views were breathtaking and the kayaks were a nice bonus! Adam was a great host!! Highly recommend!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our late September vacation in Maine., at Adam’s cottage. The weather was still warm enough to spend outside by the fire pit, kayaking, walking around the beach, without worrying too much about the mosquitoes. I loved the cozy, comfortable feelings of the cottage, with that peaceful lake view. I am so grateful for finding this listing and will 💯 recommend it to all my friends and families.
