Sam and his wife were very kind and helpful, they were available if we needed anything, but if we didn’t basically kept to themselves so it felt like we had our own space. I’d recommend staying with Sam, he was a great host and I’d be happy to stay with again if given the opportunity.

We had such a wonderful time at Sam's! The location was fresh and beautiful. We slept so very well! The neighborhood was wonderful and walkable. Sam and his location were all that we expected and more!! We will certainly be staying with Sam on future trips!!

Wir haben zwei Nächte bei Sam und seiner Frau verbracht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben viele Empfehlungen von den Beiden bekommen. Die Wohnung ist ein perfekter Startpunkt um Monterey und Carmel by the sea zu erkunden. Gerne wieder. :)

Sam and his wife were friendly but also left me to myself most of the time.... I appreciate the balance. it was a bit chilly the first night but when I asked, a heater was provided. I loved the mini fridge and microwave and the bed was crazy comfy! The location was in a peaceful neighborhood... but 10 min from Monterey etc and 20-30 min from some great hiking. I highly recommend nearby Point Lobos... amazing beautiful. As noted, the temps were a bit chilly, but the back patio doors have a great view of the city .. I watched the sunset one of the evenings.
