We had a great time in this place! We loved our cosy cabin. We also liked our two days in the wild with no signal and making our own fire to be able to warm the room and cook. This is a good place to stay if you don't want to stay in Dawson city center but want to be rather close to it. You won't feel to isolated as Melissa's yurt is just in front of the cabin.

We so enjoyed our week at the Klondike Kennels. It is off-grid, meaning no running water, cell coverage, or electricity, but that was what my family was looking forward to. We enjoyed long days of reading, playing games, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. There are great X-C ski and snowshoe trails right out the door, and a small pond that can be cleared for skating. My kids loved visiting the Qimmiq dogs, who are large, energetic and friendly. Melissa was a very generous host, and her passion for the land and the dogs was inspiring. We would highly recommend her cabin as a cozy getaway spot for nature lovers.

Very unique experience - authentic wood cabin with a wood fired heater. We stayed for nights of -30 and were sleeping in our underwear because the heater worked so well! A greeting from Melissa’s innuit huskies daily was a treat

Amazing experience here! A lot of firsts for us, including the Northern Lights, the Amazing dogs, and a very peaceful environment! Would love to visit again, possibly in the summer time!
