Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cozy apartment. The deck overlooks the woods and creek. You can hear the water going as long as we aren’t in a drought. The property is over 3.5 acres and you’re free to explore (the woods are not groomed so please be mindful). I bought this home back in 2020, it was an old group home for the developmentally disabled. I’ve been trying to transform this space and have put a lot of love and positive energy into this home/apartment. I’ve built this apartment from scratch. Transforming bare rooms into a tranquil living space. This is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath rental. It is attached to the main house but there is complete separation and a separate entrance. You have access to a full kitchen that is shared with the living room. There is a separate dining room, bathroom and bedroom. I kindly ask you don’t wear shoes in the house. I have provided slippers or shoe covers (white table-bottom left basket when entering). During the spring and summer enjoy the flowers around the yard and the lovely pollinators it brings.

Staying in Valerie’s apartment was a wonderful experience. The space is clean and stylish with all of the things you could ever need during your stay. I so appreciated the obvious care she has taken to make the space comfortable. The home is located in a beautiful part of NY with lots to explore nearby. Valerie was also super accommodating when my plans had to change. I hope to stay with her again soon!
Truly loved Valeries home, was very welcoming with the cozy feel when you open the door , art is beautiful aswell as the plants ! Farm animals right on the property so that was a extra enjoyment definitely recommend staying here.
As soon as we stepped through the door of Valerie's apartment, we felt right at home. The space was immaculately clean, super cozy, and the little details just brought us so much joy during our stay. The area was quiet and peaceful, just close enough to the buzz of town. Valerie herself was very accommodating and understanding; patient whenever our baby happened to be fussing. Would definitely stay here again!
Stylish, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Valerie was easy to communicate with, and the place was easy to find. This place is a gem!

It’s a small area, there are cows and pigs across the street and a quiet dirt road. We have more animals around than people on our road.
Breweries, wine vineyards, distilleries and restaurants are all within 5-15 minutes (driving).
Red Hook is just over 10 minutes and Rhinebeck 20 minutes. Kingston, Hudson and Catskill are 25 minutes away.
Getting around is easy here but you’ll need a car or bike. We have great bike trails around and it’s popular on our streets. The main part of Red Hook is just over 10 minutes. Parking is free and easy.
