My literally only complaint is the downstairs tv did not work for live tv. Otherwise this was an awesome place. Beautifully decorated with great extras like boot warmers and a dvd player. Lots of extra linens. Great view!!

The cabin itself is cute and rustic. The view is truly spectacular. We appreciated the exceptional selection of games and DVDs as well as the very functional kitchen and easy-to-use fireplace. The cabin is very close to Snow Valley ski area and the little town area with shops and restaurants and out of the craziness of Big Bear proper. Our one minor issue is that the cabin appears to have a yard but doesn't. I read the description and reviews closely and the only indication of this was a statement saying the area "around the property" was steep and should be avoided. We have 3 kids that were excited to play outside. There was a sled next to the back door leading to a perfect hill with 2 feet of fresh powder. We got a call that they were watching us on the camera and this was not allowed. We complied but had some very sad kids with a ton of excess energy. Had we known, we would have opted for a yard and saved everyone the trouble.

a very comfortable place with a beautiful view, I will definitely return if I return, it was a very pleasant weekend with my family.
