Relax and unwind in a custom-built, log cabin with all the comforts of home and more. Located 20 mins from Scottsboro, 25 mins to Guntersville Lake, and 28 mins to Mentone and Desoto State Park. In town for a wedding or event? We are 5 minutes from three venues: Gorham’s Bluff, Moonlight over Water, and Meek’s Grain & Gin. Situated on 1.25 private acres with a flowing creek, Little Woodland Wonder is a custom-built two-bedroom, two-bath log cabin perfect for a couple or family of four. Soaring vaulted ceilings, constructed of rough-sawn timbers, tower above the open living area greeting guests upon entry. A completely stocked kitchen, with a gas range and oven, microwave, drip, as well as a Keurig coffee maker is available. Master on the main, complete with a log canopy queen bed and Tempurpedic mattress, awaits after a long day. Ascend the custom hickory spiral staircase to the loft area to another log bed with a full mattress. Work/office space complete with high-speed fiber optic WiFi is provided for remote work. Curl up with a good book on the large sectional, or stream the big game on the 55-inch smart TV while you relax in front of the electric fireplace. Step outside and listen to the soothing sounds of the creek or sit around the campfire sharing scary stories. Recline on the rocking chair back porch, sit on the swing or fire up the gas grill (propane provided) and sear some steaks.

This was hands down the most well stocked place we have ever stayed. If we needed something it was where we could find it. Very friendly and nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and help make our 24 anniversary memorable. If I could give more than 5⭐️ I would.

Me and my sister stayed here at the beginning of march and loved the coziness of it! So I took my husband back to enjoy it with me in a little 3 day get away! Such a cozy place! And enjoyed our little outside dog friends we!
Charming cottage with great attention to detail. A great place to stay as our family went out to explore the surrounding area. My wife says it is her favorite Airbnb and I have to agree!

Outside of stunning views of the Tennessee River Valley at Gorham’s Bluff, the town of Pisgah offers little in terms of amenities besides a Dollar General and Dollar Tree (1.5 miles). However, it does serve as a gateway to the natural beauty that abounds in the form of mountain ridges, beautiful lakes (Guntersville Lake), waterfalls (Pisgah Falls), numerous caves, state parks (Desoto Falls and Cloudland Canyon), and is within 20-40 minutes to the towns of Scottsboro, Mentone, and Fort Payne. The closest big stores (Walmart, Home Depot, and Publix) are just a 20-minute drive down the mountain to Scottsboro. Be sure to stop and pick up groceries when in the larger surrounding towns.

There is a gravel parking area that can accommodate two vehicles as well as plenty of space to park your boat and trailer. With the exception of a retired, friendly neighbor across the way, the area is completely private, quiet, and away from city noise. Clear starry skies, bird songs, creek sounds, and a crackling wood fire are some of the property’s many attributes.

Hi from Joe and Dayna! Like you, we love getting away from time to time, going on adventures, and making memories. We have tried to think of all the things that we enjoy on vacation and incorporate them into our property for the comfort of our guests. Currently, we live south of Atlanta but come to Alabama as often as we can. Joe is a trained wildlife biologist and passionate about everything outdoors. Dayna works at a Montessori school and loves to create beautiful spaces for our guests. We love to explore all that Alabama has to offer. Numerous lakes, rivers, and mountain peaks await those eager to discover the south’s hidden treasures.
