The Forge is a peaceful retreat with incredible sea views, ideal for couples or individuals. A short stroll will bring you to the stunning coastal paths surrounding the Lizard or to the centre of the village where you will find an array of unique shops, eateries and pubs. The cottage is comfortable with central heating and a well equipped kitchen downstairs as well as an open plan dining and sitting area and a shower room/W.C. Upstairs is the sleeping area with double bed and seating.

I had a wonderful time. The Forge was perfect for a relaxing visit, beautiful views and cosy, comfortable and modern. Nigel and Anne were very welcoming and on hand if anything was needed. Great location, lovely village with craft shops and great places to eat and drink

Great location, close to beautiful walks, beaches and attractions. The forge was wonderfully warm for a winter break and comfortable with lots of extras that made it feel luxurious. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well equipped and there was a lovely private patio with glorious views. The hosts were friendly and helpful and available to answer questions. Definitely recommend.
We had a beautiful winters stay in The Forge.We arrived to fresh scones and homemade jam.And that set the tone for our happy stay. Drinking tea in our upstairs bedroom looking to the ocean,and as the mist rolled in we heard the foghorn. We were able to do coast walks and see so many beautiful Cornish landmarks and historical places using The Forge as our base. The coastline was stunning,and Lizard is a friendly village with all you need.Close walk to local cafes and Pubs. Nigel and Ann were very helpful with anything we needed,giving us good suggestions of what to see locally.We even saw Nigel making Cray pots.And were able to see the ones made for Poldark set. We had help if we needed but had privacy as well in the cottage.The space is not large, but well equipped and lovely, we found it perfect for 2. Thanks Ann and Nigel,we hope to one day return from Australia

Church Cove is peaceful and picturesque. The perfect base for coastal walks and just a short stroll from the amiable village of The Lizard with its welcoming pubs, eateries and shops.
From The Forge it's just a short half mile walk into the heart of the Lizard village. Here you'll find an array of welcoming pubs, restaurants and shops. There's an ample car park in the centre of the village should you need it which only asks for donations.
Once in the village, you could continue down to Lizard Point, where you'll find further cafes, gift and art shops and of course Polpeor Cove.
Or why not stroll on down to The Lizard's very own Housel Bay, a cove where on a sunny day could feel like you were anywhere in the world - and don't forget to stop for refreshments at Housel Bay Hotel with its stunning views.
And let's not forget the incredible Kynance Cove, enticing visitors from all over the world with it's spectacular views and beach.
And back at The Forge, as the name would suggest, Church Cove itself has its own cove and small beach.
You really are spoilt for beautiful beaches and unique surroundings in the Lizard.
And should you wish to venture further out, there's a bus stop in the centre of the village which will take you into Helston, where you'll find buses heading all over the peninsular.
