I chose Camila’s house for a prolonged stay of almost three months. It was quite the commitment, but I am very grateful to say that her home and hospitality have exceeded all of my expectations. It has been a wonderful and reinvigorating spring. Camila and her mother, Olfita, have welcomed me into their family with open arms, so did their loyal canine companions Raymi and Salchi who will shower you with a mountain of love. Additionally, Yaldad is a wonderful community, and a great base to explore neighbouring parks, islands, beaches and all the lush nature and rich culture of the island of Chiloe and of its people. I have only positive things to say about those past three months, and the community and family which have received me so well and generously. On technical notes, the house is large, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, extremely functional and all listed amenities were present. A local bus comes 5 times a day to connect to Quellon from where buses often depart. 5🌟
