This is not an ideal place to stay if you’re seeking peace and quiet. The suite is located in the basement of the house, accessed via the garage door in the backyard. The main door to the suite has a large glass window that is uncovered which made me uncomfortable to be in the kitchen. In regards to noise: terrible. Throughout the day you hear loud stomps, full conversations, children running, baby cries, etc. I have an infant who constantly woke up from his naps due to the overhead noise. The bathroom had leftover toiletries from previous guests including an empty dove body wash bottle as well as a hairy soap bar. The glass of the shower had dirt specks. In the freezer were leftover groceries, both opened and unopened. Half the freezer was full. Lastly, I messaged seeking a late checkout due to our flight being delayed and received extremely slow responses. Then was told I could not due to them having another booking. There was no other booking. I hoped for better hospitality.

Did not have its own thermostat. But we were able to go upstairs and turn the thermostat up due to the suite being empty. There were 2 of us and were only given one had towel and facecloth. Other than that it was great.

Satvirs place was amazing as it provided peace and quiet, which is what we seeked. The only "negative" thing I can say is that the floors on the top floor creak a lot, so you are able to hear them walking in the middle of the night fairly loud. Regardless, this is not a reason to me, personally, to skip the opportunity to stay in this clean location. We were more than satisfied with our stay. Thank you, Satvir!

The place was really clean and the host was very responsive. It would be a perfect stay if not the residents upstairs. The place isn’t soundproofed, located on the first floor of a signle-family home. Residents upstairs have little kids, they were up at 4-5 am each morning and we could clearly hear everything - cries, laughter, runs, stumps, even single words of conversations. Plus they had guests over for two evenings, one party ended at 2 am. We stayed for a week and didn’t have a single night of a good sleep.
