Quietly tucked away but less than a 10-minute stroll along the lively Beach Road lined with cafes, restaurants and shopping to the pristine Christies Beach, this contemporary townhouse is perfectly positioned to soak up the seaside vibe of Fleurieu Peninsula. Light-filled and vibrant, open living features a cosy seating area and modern kitchen flowing out to a private garden with alfresco dining and a BBQ. Enjoy the convenience of secure parking, two bathrooms and central heating and cooling. Catering to families or small groups, this two-level townhouse offers a modern stay in the heart of Christies Beach. Brimming with natural light, it has a lovely indoor-outdoor flow, with central air-conditioning and heating throughout to keep things comfortable. Stepping inside, the living and dining area is open plan. A sleek kitchen centres around a breakfast bar where guests can take things slow over their morning coffee. Stock up on groceries from the local Woolworths, just a five-minute walk from home and whip up a feast in the modern kitchen or fire up the Weber and make the most of the region’s excellent local produce. Come together around the dining table or soak up some fresh air alfresco. Comfortable sofas invite you to kick back at the end of the day in front of the TV. Those travelling with kids will also find books and toys to keep the little ones entertained. Both bedrooms encourage a good night’s sleep, with side tables and reading lights along with ceiling fans to keep things comfortable. The primary bedroom comes set with a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom is fitted with a double. The primary bedroom enjoys the convenience of a private ensuite bathroom, while the main bathroom caters to the second bedroom, offering a combination bathtub and shower making it easy to refresh. Guests will also have access to an internal laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, as well as a third toilet. Parking is provided for two cars, one undercover in the garage and one on the driveway.
The townhouse is in a close proximity walking distance to shops and cafes. Good for anyone visiting McLaren Vale or surrounding wineries. Everything was easy to find in the house. Some of the cutlery and bowls were not clean but otherwise it was lovely to stay for a few days.
Had a great stay and felt right at home, so close to the beach and the place was really lovely.
The seaside suburb of Christies Beach is situated approximately 30 minutes' drive south of Adelaide and is a sought-after destination for family getaways. Nestled on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula, it offers year-round fishing, swimming and snorkelling off its pristine beach, as well as scenic coastal walks and a flourishing café and shopping scene. Scour for bric-a-brac and vintage gems at The Original Open Market, held on the first and third Sunday every month. Discover the McLaren Vale wine region with notable wineries including d'Arenberg, Mitolo Wine and Primo Estate, just 20 minutes away. Dine at picturesque Star of Greece restaurant overlooking Port Willunga and drive the car right onto the sand during summer at neighbouring Moana Beach.
Parking: Parking is accessible at the site via one driveway and one residential garage.
Airport: The nearest airport is a 35-minute drive away by car or a 2-hour journey by public transport.
Public Transport: Conveniently, the bus stop is only 300 meters away, providing easy access to public transportation.
