I was lucky enough to spend most of the winter at Fred’s chalet. Beautifully built, well considered details and always perfectly maintained, it’s just a five minute walk from the main ski lift up Les Houches yet in a totally peaceful garden surrounded by trees yet with great views of Mont Blanc and the whole Chamonix mountain range. Fred is a generous and thoughtful host with fantastic knowledge of the area - history, wildlife, plants and all the mountain sports. I hope to go back.

We stayed at this beautiful cozy chalet for three days and did some mountaineering in the area. Frederic is very friendly and we had some nice talks about the area when he was in the house. If we decide to come back, we would definitely consider staying at Frederic's chalet again.

Great host, cooked coffee for me and visited his cute garden, the Mountain View is the best!
