Beautiful stay! The apartment is brand new, sparkling clean, and beautifully renovated/decorated. Hosts and very responsive and friendly. Not in the heart of the city center but easy to move around with the metro close and taxis. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in, would not hesitate to stay here again!

We were very happy with this apartment and its location. It was modern and very clean. The view from the balcony was absolutely lovely. We arrived after a long flight to a warm and cosy apartment which was so welcoming. It was very quiet too.Sofia was so helpful and answered any questions I had. I left something very valuable to me and before I even noticed Sofia let me know and was kind enough to send it to me all the way to Australia. For this I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend this place.
Sofia was super responsive. Have certain doubts regarding certain things but sofia managed to guide us accordingly. The bnb was beautiful. Did not regret a single cent booking her bnb. Clean house. Complete amenities and really felt like home 😊

You’ve made a good choice to stay in Ampelokipi area because you’re right in the heart of the city near many famous attractions. From here, you can take the metro and be at Parliament Square (Syntagma) in only 4 stops. All the major sites are within walking distance from there.
The best way to get around central Athens is to use the metro. The closest stop to the apartment is “Panormou” which is located a short 5’ walk away. It is on line 3 (Blue Line) and this line takes you directly to Syntagma Square (Parliament Square) in 4 stops. You can also connect to this line from the airport, by changing at “Doukissis Plakentias” stop on the airport line. You can buy your tickets (ATH.ENA card) at the metro station and there are 3-day tourist tickets which include airport transfers for €20. You can use your ticket on types of public transport such as the metro, buses and the tram.
Another easy way to get around Athens is by using taxis, since they are very cheap. There is a fantastic ride-hailing app called FREE NOW which you can use to get taxis all the around the city.
