We loved the stay! The flat was very clean, easy to access, a short walk to a nice alcove in the sea, a few minutes away from a pleasant grocery and butchery, and a minibus stop to Acireale. There is a fruit & vegetable guy that drives around, and a daily gelato driver that passes by the door and sells home-made gelato, the best that we tried! Very quaint and peaceful. It is easiest to transport around the island by a car, but cycling is doable for the sports-oriented! The shore is rocky, but there are some piers that take you into it for the adventurous. Good spots to sunbathe. Overall, an excellent location to rest, and a good location to launch drive explorations across eastern Sicily. Furthermore, Giuseppe is friendly and always on call, ready to help with everything major or minor. It shows that he cares about your stay, and it feels good to be supported, with logistics or with recommendations. Hoping to return in the summer!

Da wir in der Nacht ankamen, waren wir erfreut eine Flasche Prosecco und Mineralwasser als Gastgeschenk vorzufinden. Das Meer ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, leider gibt es keinen gesicherten öffentlichen Zugang ins Wasser. Die Wohnung ist mit modernen Möbeln ansprechend eingerichtet, sehr sauber. Selbst Klappstühle und ein Sonnenschirm für den Strand sind vorhanden. Ein Mietfahrzeug ist von Vorteil um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Gerne sind wir wieder Gast bei Giuseppe.
